Bare Hands Combat Club
A focus on the impactful creative, to bring ecommerce growth.
Web Design, Brand Direction, Shopify Development, Branding & Identity
With ecommerce it’s never been easier to build an online business. However this means competition has never been higher. You need a website that is ready to work with paid marketing and maximise the impact of all those people who visit your landing page. You need to stand out from all other stores without doubling or tripling your investment. Luckily, many businesses new to ecommerce have spent minimal time on their front end design, so stand out and capture attention, you can focus on a professional and bespoke set of visuals.
You must tell your story, appeal to the user, build trust, and begin engaging, all as quickly as possible. This is the problem facing Bare Hands Combat Club, to increase conversion, to build trust, the website needed to be unique in a market of filled with similar styled themes.
Communicating a focus on content, on the brand’s values, while building trust and ensuring conversion.
The core feature of the Bare site is a focus on content and the story of the brand. The site was built with bespoke features, to ensure it would stand out next to other Shopify stores. There’s only a handful of themes available without investment on the platform, so custom elements immediately set the tone that this is a serious brand.
The homepage is designed to push a newly launched range, or to act as landing page for a range of products. It can be fully changed on the fly with new content to focus on a specific launch of products. A seamless link between the site, the strategy, and a unique experience on the page all contribute to a frictionless experience for the user, and act as one large sales funnel. Vital for maximising the effect of paid advertising.
Increasing conversion, creating a lasting impression, and through focusing on the right things during the build, you can leverage a system like Shopify to do what you need, without investing as much as a full ecommerce build.
‘’A lot of brands set out to present a ‘premium’ image. Yet, something as simple as how a website site is built can betray that image. No amount of saying you’re a premium offering will make up for a clunky user experience, or content that is taken from stock websites and used on thousands of other sites.’’
A lot of brands set out to present a ‘premium’ image. Yet, something as simple as how a website site is built can betray that image. No amount of saying you’re a premium offering will make up for a clunky user experience, or content that is taken from stock websites and used on thousands of other sites. A poorly built website lowers trust with the user (they ask themselves, is my credit card safe here?) and damages the reputation of the brand.
This made the elements of the site and the process of the build a part of the execution of the design.
Now linked with Instagram, Facebook Shopping, and Klaviyo email marketing, The Bare Hands Combat Club has a full Shopify ecommerce platform. Taking all the best parts of Shopify’s offering (their security, their robust system) without the negatives of cookie cutter themes.
